this universe, and this is the only temple in the country dedicated to the
creator. This temple is known around the country for its remarkable marble
carvings and the four-headed Brahma idol. The shades used to embellish the idol

visited temples in Pushkar. The image of Lord Vishnu is simply magnificent as
the lord is in the incarnation of an untamed boar. According to Hindu mythology,
Lord Vishnu came to earth in this incarnation to destroy the dreadful demon
named ‘Hiranyaksha’,
Apteshwar Temple
Apteshwar Temple in Pushkar is dedicated to Lord Shiva.
Built-in the 12th Century, this temple is the oldest temple in Pushkar. However,
the edifice is yet intact and people come from various corners of the country
to worship Lord Shiva.
