Celebrate Diwali with Fun and Frolic
The festival of light arrives now just need to wait for a few days for the Deepawali celebration. On this special occasion, Goddess Laxmi
entered each house and she is worshipped performing various rituals and
systems. This festival is celebrated all over India and people explore the
crackers and share sweets and light firecrackers. This illuminating day brings
prosperity and wealth to everybody's lives. Deepawali is celebrated on the day of
Amavasya, exactly on the 15th day of the dark fortnight that falls on the Hindu
month of Ashwin from October to November every year.

To Mark the Triumph of Good Over Evil
When Lord Rama returned to Ayodhya after spending his 14
years in exile and when the ten-headed ruler of Lanka snatched Rama’s wife and
abducted her so, in order to rescue her from Ravana. Thus, the festival has
been celebrated since then that marks the triumph of good over evil. There is
no dark this day and every corner of houses is illuminated with candles and
diyas.
Goddess Lakshmi: The Main Deity
Goddess Lakshmi is a symbol of prosperity and she is
worshipped in every house as well as it is believed that she pays each house a
visit on this occasion. Lakshmi Puja is done in the houses and people finish
the Pooja with complete rituals and then offer “Prasads” to all. This is the
day new financial year and especially on this day many business deals are
finalized also.
Chhoti Diwali
Chhoti Diwali exactly comes before the main Deepawali and it
is said that on this day Hanuman reached Ayodhya to deliver the message of Lord
Rama’s return. On Chhoti Diwali people exchange sweets and gifts with one
another. In the evening time, a Pooja is done which is a puja and the people
decorate their homes with colorful and clean curtains and bed-sheets. They
light the earthen lamps and purchase new idols that are to be worshipped. This
Chhoti Diwali is called Kali Puja in West Bengal and even, Kali is the goddess
of war that is very revered by Bengalis people.
Dhanteras: The Shopping Day
Dhanteras is celebrated just a few days after Deepawali
and this is a shopping day where people have to buy something new on this
occasion. There are a wide array of new things for the Diwali special as well as you
can also get most of the things at discounts that allure the customers to buy
them. Each and everywhere you can see the stalls are piled up with firecrackers
and goodies.
Rangoli
Rangoli is a drawing of different attractive patterns on the
floors that are drawn with different colors and creative ideas and various
types of designs are made on the floors in each room. The Rangoli is based on
different themes and some of the most beautiful themes of Rangoli are Birds, Dancing Figures, Flowers, Swastika, Chakra, Stars, Geometrical Figures, and others.
Big Celebration of Diwali Festival
Finally, the big day of celebration arrives, and yes this is the day when the mass of people gather at one place and celebrate Diwali with lots
of excitement and delightfully. The noises of crackers can be heard all around
till midnight. The women of the house prepare delicious foods at home and
children enjoy their night with firecrackers as well.
